With Mark and Derek Jeffery away this week we were left
to book every one into the PC and after a bit of time sorting
it all out by Tim and Iain we got the racing under way.
This weeks track layout was done by Team Xray Andy Ashman.
Roll on the new carpet. cant wait

A Final
1st Tim Harrop 34 laps
2nd Andy Ashman 32 laps 308
3rd Iain Bone 32 laps 310
4th Ossie 30 laps
Fastest Lap by Tim 8.12
Andy just holding off Iain at the end of the race
as Iain put in some very quick laps 8.4s matching my pace
near the end of the final to try and catch Andy just two seconds
off at the finish.

B Final
1st Daniel Woods 25 laps
2nd Josh Wakeling 25 laps
3rd Paul Laker 23 laps
4th Wayne Laker 22 laps
5th New driver 19 laps
Fastest lap by Josh 9.27
Some good racing went on here between Dan and Josh
both led the race with there driving getting better
with each round and dan doing a bit of car setup work
with new springs.Next time Josh keep trying.

News From the Wars

Andy Ashman 2nd in the stock A final at the 2009 2 day Carpetwars well done Andy. But then went and left his sandwich box behind just like some one else did
last week at west kent only that was a thermos.

Darren beaten again by Andy.

Iain Bone also made the Stock A Final

Mark Jeffery made the Pro Stock D final after some car problems.

Tim Harrop 8th in the Pro stock A Final.

News From West Kent. From Crashman to now Fastman

Good drive from Andy Ashman with his Xray 008 in the 13.5 stock A final.Andy started 2nd on the grid and made the most of it taking the lead into the first corner and never looked back taking the A final win if he carries on winning and upsetting them he will be banned iam sure. Iain Bone also made a good start only to crash on the first lap like a numpty said Stewart Bevan but he did recover.As for me Tim Harrop I got TQ in the open using 8.5 spec motor only to drop it on the tape in the first corner from first to last but then I got the hammer down and got back up to 2nd with just 1 second of the lead in the end. So there we are another good showing from the Capel boys once again.
